Refund policy

Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, because we want you to be happy with your purchase.  Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.

CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

To start a change of mind return, you must first contact us at shop@campingworlddalby.com.au or 0746623219 to discuss your return request.  If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We have a 7-day change of mind return policy, which means you have up to 7 days after receiving your item to request a change of mind return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging unopened. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  Shipping and handling cost are not refundable.  Returned goods are at the expense of the customer.

PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY AS WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR CHANGE OF MIND - WE MAY OFFER A STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE.

Damages and issues relating to freight or Incorrect Item Received

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Camping World Dalby within 48 hours of you receiving the delivery.  If item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

FAULTY PRODUCT/WARRANTY RETURNS POLICY

You are entitled to a replacement, credit or refund where item(s) are:

  • Faulty
  • Wrongly described
  • Different from a sample shown to you; or
  • Do not do what they are supposed to do

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

You will need your proof of purchase to complete the faulty product/warranty return.  If you no longer have the receipt, you can help us determine proof of purchase by providing a bank statement or similar.

Exclusions

In some cases a refund, replacement, or repair may not be offered if you:

  • Substantially modify the product
  • Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels

Certain products are excluded under our Returns Policy unless they are faulty, these include:

  • Tailor made customer orders
  • Gift-cards, vouchers, and/or credit vouchers
  • Delivery fees and charges

Expenses relating to Product Returns

Any expenses relating to the return of your product to store will normally have to be paid by you. This does not impact your consumer guarantee rights, you may be entitled to recover reasonable postage or transportation costs if the product is confirmed to have a major failure.
